🧭 Itinerary

• 8:55 AM: Depart Grand Central Terminal via Metro North to Poughkeepsie (or drive directly and meet us at 10:57 AM)

• 10:57 AM: Meet group at Poughkeepsie station (transportation to activities included)

• 11:30 AM: Stop at local deli to pick up lunch

• 12:30 PM: Hike the beautiful Black Creek Preserve (easy/moderate, ~Level 4 out of 10) Lunch will be on the trail.

• 2:30 PM: Visit a local orchard for wagon ride & apple picking

• 4:00 PM: Wine tasting at El Paso Winery

• 5:50 PM: Catch train back to NYC from Poughkeepsie

🥾 About the Hike

• Difficulty: Level 4/10

• Two brief uphill sections (comparable to 6 flights of stairs)

• Uneven terrain in spots (rocks & roots)

• Sneakers OK, but hiking shoes recommended

Absolutely! Around 98% of attendees come solo. Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, our friendly hosts will introduce you to the group right away. You’re also welcome to bring friends, coworkers, or guests — just register for the correct number of people.
