We have an exclusive offer for our members to rent the entire Hudson Valley Getaway House for a weekend vacation.   Spend the weekend on a beautiful 4 acre wooded property socializing, relaxing and exploring with family, friends or that special someone. Only a 90 minute drive from NYC or a Metro-North train ride and you will be breathing fresh air and staring at starry skies!  It is the perfect retreat for a family, small group of friends or a romantic getaway! Plus each morning enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens and fresh maple syrup from the trees on site!

The House:

The house is a modern and clean chalet style house in a wooded area in Highland, NY.  It is in between 3 major attraction areas: Poughkeepsie, New Paltz and Kingston plus a short drive to Saugerties and Woodstock.  There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. A huge wraparound deck, a big fire pit, BBQ grill, big fridge stocked with condiments, a billiards table, meditation paths, a hammock, a cool tree house games and plenty of room to unwind! Space is limited to 6.  Take a virtual tour of the property

Basement:  Billiards table, mini fridge, huge couch, TV, full bath.

1st Level: 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and dining area, full bath, wraparound deck

2nd level:  Loft with daybed and desk, master bedroom with full bath.

How Do I Get There?

Most people take the Metro-North train to Poughkeepsie along the spectacular Hudson River then UBER to the house or rent a car. The train station is 10 minutes from the house.  You may also drive.  Amtrak and Trailways bus also stop nearby.

Accommodations:

Room 1: 2 twin beds w/ shared full bath

Room 2: 1 queen-size bed w/ shared full bath

Room 3: The primary bedroom features 2 queen-size airbeds that are very comfortable with an en-suite full bath.

The Loft: The loft feature a huge comfortable daybed and is located outside the primary suite.

Cost: $700 Includes house rental Friday at 4pm-Sunday at 5pm. Cleaning service, use of all household items.  (A $500 security deposit will also be refunded after inspection at check out.  A contract will be sent once you have reserved the house).

House rules:

• Space limited to 6 guests
• No parties
• Limit 4 vehicles in driveway (there is no on street parking)
• No smoking in house
• No amplified music after 8pm outside
• There are security cameras in use outside
• Fire pit fires must be put out each night completely
• Don’t let the chickens out
• Dogs are permitted ($50 extra)
