Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley, where visitors experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions under open sky. Since 1960, Storm King has been dedicated to stewarding the hills, meadows, and forests of its site and surrounding landscape.  Join a small group of NYSN members and friends for this amazing experience.

How It Works:

  • Take the 8:55am train from Grand Central to Beacon, NY.  Your guide will pick you up and bring you across the river to Storm King. You may also drive yourself and meet the group there.
  • Once at the sculpture park we will enjoy a snack/lunch at the outdoor cafe. (bring your own or purchase on-site)
  • We will spend approximately 3 hours exploring the exhibits.  You can stay with the group or explore on your own.
  • Following the Arts Center the group will head back to beacon where you can walk through the town before getting back on the trains to NYC. You will be on the 5:51 at the latest.

Cost: 

$65 Includes: General admission, transportation to and from  Beacon train station, guide fees.

$45 For those who wish to drive on their own and meet at the Arts Center.  General admission & guide fees only.

Not included (Train fare, lunch)

Can I come alone?  Yes 99% of attendees for events like this likely come on their own.  It is a fun way to meet people.

Dress Code:  Dress for the weather wear comfortable shoes.

Food Options:  Bring your own lunch or purchase from their outdoor cafe.

Ages: 21+

This event is non refundable unless canceled or rescheduled.  If you miss the train we will not be able accommodate you.
