Bocce ball—dates back to the 13th century! Centuries later, it’s still one of the most fun and easy games for amusement, socializing, and just a touch of competition. We’ll teach you everything you need to know, then jump right into a few lively rounds!

After the games, the group may head to a nearby café for food and drinks.

What is Bocce Ball?

Bocce ball is a simple yet strategic game where players roll large balls, aiming to get them as close as possible to a smaller target ball called the jack (or kitty). The team with the most balls closest to the jack wins!

What to Expect

• Meet at the benches near the main entrance of Tavern on the Green

• Walk together to our designated play area

• Enjoy a short introduction, then play several sets over 90 minutes

• Wrap up with an optional group outing to a nearby tavern for food and drinks
