Feast of San Gennaro Mystery Scavenger Hunt & Social

The Feast of San Gennaro is one of New York City’s oldest, largest, and most beloved street festivals. Join us in the heart of Little Italy as the neighborhood comes alive with incredible food, drinks, games, live entertainment, dazzling lights, and hundreds of vendors lining the streets.

This year, there’s an extra twist…

A beloved neighborhood character, Vinny “The Social Dude,” has mysteriously vanished after attending the Feast! The police need your help to retrace his steps, uncover hidden clues, and solve the mystery before the night is over.

Come alone or bring friends! We’ll place you into teams and send you on a fun-filled adventure through the Feast with opportunities to meet new people, explore Little Italy, and compete for great prizes.

How It Works

Upon arrival, we’ll place you on a team of 4–6 participants (unless you register with your own team). Each team will receive a packet of clues and instructions before heading into the festival.

Your mission is to follow Vinny’s trail through Little Italy, searching for clues hidden among historic landmarks, festival booths, stages, and neighborhood attractions. You’ll have one hour to complete the challenge and piece together what happened to Vinny.

Once your team has gathered all the clues—or your time has expired—you’ll proceed to the finish location where scores will be tallied and winners announced.

After the hunt, you’re welcome to continue enjoying the Feast with fellow participants, sharing stories, grabbing food and drinks, and celebrating your detective work.

Food & Drinks

Feel free to stop along the route for food, drinks, or snacks, or save your appetite for the group’s post-hunt gathering at our designated restaurant/bar. The Feast offers countless delicious options, making this event part mystery adventure and part culinary experience.

What Kind of Clues Will We Be Looking For?

The clues are woven into the rich history of Little Italy and the Feast of San Gennaro itself. You’ll search for details hidden on buildings, signs, festival displays, stages, and vendor booths throughout the neighborhood.

Experience Level

No experience necessary. Whether you’re a seasoned scavenger hunter or trying one for the first time, you’ll have a great time.

Admission includes the scavenger hunt experience only. Food and beverages are not included.

The Story

Vinny “The Social Dude” was a classic New York neighborhood guy who grew up in Brooklyn. Every year he looked forward to the Feast of San Gennaro, spending the day reconnecting with old friends, enjoying amazing food and drinks, and doing his best to charm the ladies.

This year started just like every other year…

Then Vinny disappeared.

Your team must retrace his final known movements through Little Italy, uncover clues left behind, interview “witnesses,” and determine what really happened to him.

Don’t worry—it’s all in good fun. No gruesome crime scenes here!

Coming Solo?

Absolutely! Most participants attend on their own. This is one of our most popular events for meeting new people and making new friends.

Dress Code

Casual and comfortable. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
