Headless Horseman Haunted Farm & Houses Experience

Get ready for an incredible fall day in the Hudson Valley followed by one of the most famous Halloween attractions in the country!

Headless Horseman Haunted Farm & Houses has been voted one of the top haunted attractions in America for years. Set on hundreds of acres of farmland, this massive Halloween experience features hundreds of costumed actors, incredible makeup, professionally designed sets, haunted houses, a corn maze, the Walk of Horror, and a spooky Halloween village.

We’ll make a full day of it with a visit to a local orchard and cider farm, a private catered dinner, and then an evening at Headless Horseman. Experiencing it with a fun group makes it even better!

What to Expect

Our group will take the 11:56 AM Metro-North train from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie or drive on your own and meet the group in Poughkeepsie.

First Stop: Orchard, Pumpkins & Cider

From the Poughkeepsie train station, we’ll head to a local orchard, pumpkin farm and hard cider farm for some classic fall fun.

You’ll have a chance to pick up pumpkins for jack-o’-lanterns and fresh apples while enjoying hard cider, hot apple cider and delicious cider donuts!

Private Catered Buffet Dinner

After the orchard, we’ll head to our private campsite for a catered buffet dinner before the night’s haunted adventure begins.

Our buffet will include:

  • Grilled chicken
  • Butternut squash soup (vegetarian)
  • Pasta with garlic, vegetables and olive oil
  • Baked fish
  • Mixed vegetables
  • Salad
  • Beer, wine, hot apple cider and soda

After dinner, it’s time for Headless Horseman Haunted Farm & Houses!

The Headless Horseman Experience

The entire attraction takes place on the farm, and you’ll be outdoors for much of the evening. Plan on approximately 2 hours to experience everything.

The scares are designed to be fun and thrilling—not disgusting or overly graphic. Actors may jump out and surprise you along the way, but they will not touch you.

Once we’ve finished, we’ll return to the Poughkeepsie train station. We expect to have you on the 10:54 PM train back to NYC at the latest.

If Headless Horseman cancels the attraction, they will issue a voucher to attend on another available date. You would be responsible for getting to the attraction on your own for the rescheduled visit.
