Our tours are created for locals who want to  discover the fascinating history hidden in places they may pass every day. Each tour is designed to be both entertaining and educational — a chance to explore the city while meeting and socializing with other fun, friendly people from our group.

Along the way, you’ll hear incredible stories, uncover forgotten secrets, and view rare historic photographs that bring New York’s past to life. Become a tourist in your own city and experience New York from a whole new perspective.

Your guide, Dave Cervini, will take you through the fascinating history of the park — from its golden years to its decline and eventual rebirth. As the sun sets on a beautiful fall evening, you’ll see amazing images dating back to before the park even existed, along with vintage photographs from the late 1800s and early 1900s.

The tour begins at West 81st Street and concludes at Tavern on the Green, where guests are welcome to join us afterward on the patio for a post-tour cocktail and conversation.
