San Diego—the 8th largest city in the U.S.—is known for having some of the best weather in the country. From stunning beaches and breathtaking sunsets to vibrant nightlife, rich history, and iconic attractions like the San Diego Zoo, it truly has something for everyone.
Join us for this unique, immersive getaway where you’ll experience both the must-see highlights and hidden “locals-only” gems. Your host, NYSN Founder Dave Cervini—who spent time living in San Diego—will guide you through the very best the city has to offer. You will also get to join several gatherings with The San Diego Social Network!
What to Expect:
We’ve secured a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott in Historic Old Town, centrally located near all major attractions.
- Welcome reception on Thursday evening
- A full weekend of curated activities across San Diego and nearby areas
- A special Coast-to-Coast Mixer with the San Diego Social Network

- Check-in anytime after 3:00 PM
- 6:00 PM – Welcome reception in Old Town
- 7:00 PM – Dinner in the famous Gaslamp Quarter
- Evening – Explore and socialize in the Gaslamp
FRIDAY
- Breakfast at your leisure
- Historic Trolley Tour of San Diego
- Lunch in beautiful Balboa Park
- La Mesa Street Fair & dinner
- Evening socializing
SATURDAY
- Breakfast at your leisure
- Visit La Jolla & La Jolla Cove (home of the sea lions)
- Lunch
- Point Loma Cliff Walk & Cabrillo National Monument
- Stroll and dinner in Little Italy
- Sunset by the ocean
- Evening social event with the San Diego Social Network
SUNDAY
- 9:00 AM – Group breakfast
- 11:00 AM – Check-out (bags can be stored at hotel)

Take a later flight and spend the morning/afternoon visiting the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, or USS Midway on your own.

Absolutely—about 99% of attendees do! We’ll pair you with a compatible roommate for shared accommodations.
What’s the age range?
Typically 30s–50s.
Can I use hotel points?
Unfortunately no, as this is a packaged group rate.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes! Just contact Dave and we’ll help arrange it.
What’s the weather like in April?
Expect sunny skies with daytime temps in the 70s–80s and evenings in the 60s.
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
