How It Works

🚆 Getting There:

• Take the scenic Metro-North train along the Hudson River to Poughkeepsie (recommended)
• Alternatively, drive directly to the campsite.  There is special pricing if you drive and use your car for the weekend

🚗 Weekend Schedule:

• Arrive Saturday Morning, settle in, and enjoy a moderate local hike in the area.
• After our hike we will head back to the campsite for a BBQ lunch party.  Swimming, kayaking, volleyball and relaxing are all on the schedule.
• Saturday evening we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner grilled to perfection then it’s time to sit by the bonfire, relax, make s’mores and check out the stars.
• On Sunday we will have another Hudson Valley adventure complete with another hike, winery visit and great food.
• Monday, breakfast at the campsite then departure on the 11:58am train.

🙋 Can I come alone? YES! 98% of attendees come solo—this is the perfect event to meet new people in a laid-back setting.

🦟 Is it buggy? It depends on the weather, but bug spray is always recommended.

🔋 Can I charge my phone? There’s no electricity at the campsite, but we have a portable power inverter for charging personal devices.

🐶 Can I bring my dog? Sorry, no pets allowed.
