What is a photography walk? It is a social activity where photographers (beginners to advanced) get together and take pictures of their surroundings. Your host will take you on a photography adventure in the concrete jungle. You’ll get a chance to practice your skills, experiment with your camera and learn from each other. This is a great activity to meet other photographers or anyone that enjoys taking pictures. Don’t forget to bring your camera or phone!

This walk will feature two exciting NYC sites. The Historic High Line and the new art installation called Citrovia.

You don’t need to be a photographer to join this walk but bring your enthusiasm for meeting new people and taking pictures!
Walk Details

The group will meet at The Gansevoort Street entrance for the Highline (@Washington).  We will exit  the Highline at 30th and 10th then walk 2 short blocks to Citrovia at 9th and 32nd.

After you have had a chance to experience Citrovia, the group can stop into the Whole Foods at Citrovia to grab some food to enjoy on the tables in the outdoor garden!

Highlights along the way:

  • Installation artworks on the High Line
  • Amazing views of the skyline, sunset and Hudson River
  • Cool historical items
  • The amazing NEW Citrovia outdoor square.

How it works:

·         Host will start with introductions and make sure everyone has their phone or camera ready.

·         Guests can take turns modeling for each other as long as they are comfortable doing so.

·         The entire process will take 90 minutes. You are welcome to stay after and socialize with your new friends
