The 33rd Annual Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival welcomes hot-air balloonists from all over the country and draws thousands of visitors from all over the world. The day will feature tethered hot-air balloon rides, full hot-air balloon flights, helicopter rides, live music and entertainment, food trucks, fun activities and more! We’ll have a van that leaves from midtown full of fun NYSN members and friends for a memorable day out of the city.
How it works:
- The group will meet near Penn Station at 3pm.
- When you arrive at the festival you will be free to roam as you wish.
- We will have designated times to get together for live music, and the balloon flights, illumination and fireworks show.
- You will be able to sign up for balloon and helicopter rides separately.
- We will depart approximately at 8pm. Arrive in NYC around 10pm
Cost: $150 General Members/ $140 Lifetime VIP Members includes: round-trip transportation and host/driver expenses and admission to the festival.
Not Included: food, beverages balloon rides and other attractions .
Can I come alone? Yes, 98% of those attending will likely be traveling solo. It is a great way to meet others.
Dress code: Dress for the weather.
What if it rains? If the festival is canceled then so is our trip. We will give updates the night before.

Illness Protocols/Refunds
This event is nonrefundable unless canceled. If you have tested positive for Covid or are sick with any ailment that prohibits you from attending, we will do our best to provide you with credits for select future events with a copy of your positive test results or doctor’s note. Credits may or may not equal the cost of the event missed and may only be applied to events selected by NYSN.
