The biggest stars of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade are the giant balloons!  Get an up close and personal view of the balloons as they get inflated along Central Park West. You’ll join the group for food and drinks on the Upper West Side then set out to get an awesome perspective on this iconic event! Please note that as per Macy’s regulation this event is for vaccinated only.  You will need to bring proof.

The group will meet in front of Dunkin’ at 166 W 72nd St, New York, NY 10023. At 3pm sharp We will then venture out to see the balloons being inflated.  After the inflation tour, which includes a little history of the parade and balloons, the group will go back to a nearby tavern for more food and drinks!

Cost:  $10 general members / Free for VIP members.  Includes host fee only.

PLEASE NOTE:  This is NOT a special VIP access tour.  You will be with the general public (very crowded) but with our group members (usually 40 people).

******Do we have special passes or access to the balloons?  No, but your guide will make navigating the crowds fun and informative.

What to expect:

• The group will meet in front of Dunkin’ at 3pm sharp.
• We will walk over together to the entrance to the balloon viewing area.
• Along the way you host will share history of the parade and the balloons.
• When we exit the viewing area,  the group will find a local cafe to eat and drink.
• Please expect that the entire process will take 2 hours`

Covid 19 Protocols: Vaccinated

• This event has been posted as a Vaccinated Only event by Macy’s.

• You will need to show your vaccination card or Excelsior app upon arrival.
• Facemasks will not be required when with our group.
• Please note that this event may take place at a venue where there may be non vaccinated people who are not part of NYSN in other areas at that location.  Each venue has the right to ask for specific compliance when you may go to the bar or bathroom and not in the company of our group.  Please be respectful.
• If you do not have proof of vaccination you will not be admitted. No refund.

Can I come alone?  Yes. 98% of those attending will likely register on their own, but you are invited to bring as many guests as you would like–just register for that amount.

Dress Code: Dress for the weather.

How will I find the group?  We will send you a confirmation email with exact locations, contact info and names of those who are hosting the event when you register for the event and send follow up emails as we get closer.
