Since the Pandemic hit we have had hundreds of new members register for The New York Social Network!  Many of you have joined us online or in person and some have not.  This night is a great way to log on and find out about what is going on with the group for the remainder  of the Fll plus a look ahead to Winter and Spring.  What better way to have a chat than around a campfire!  Join NYSN Founder Dave Cervini as he stokes up a real fire live from our upstate NY private campsite and invites members and friends both old and new to join us for a fun and casual evening of casual conversations, your suggestions and a peek at what is coming up.  Think of it as our version of the Yule Log!

How it works:

• Register below and we will send you the log in information for our Zoom meeting.
• You will need a device with a camera and microphone.
• Dave will light the fire at the campsite and invite you all to sit around with him.
• Come prepared with food and drinks and try your hand at the Indoor S’mores Recipe
• Please no politics!
• You may invite close friends, family or significant others to participate.

What types of things are discussed?  A little bit of everything (except politics).  Dave will moderate the conversations but many times they wind up flowing like the wine we’ll all be drinking!

How do I participate?

When you register we will send you a code to join or Zoom meeting. (please note that the confirmation will come later)

Can I attend alone?

Right now 99.9% of those participating attend alone.

How Many are expected?

Most of our virtual events have 10 to 20 participants unless otherwise specified.

Who participates in these?

The demographics of our online events are varied unless we have a specific criteria listed. For the most part there are all ages and ethnicities. Realistically, this should not matter to you.  If there is an event that you would like to do, then do it!  It is totally different than physically being stuck at something you are not enjoying. You can “click out” at any time. If you are unhappy with the experience we will refund your fee.

Dress Code:

Pajamas & t-shirts are acceptable (just, please be wearing clothes!). Also we all realize that our beards are growing and our hair looks like hell. (Besides most computer cameras are not that clear anyway)
