We are partnering with our friends at www.quietevents.com (the headphone party people) for this mobile outdoor party that will take you through the streets of NYC and into four iconic parks (Bryant, Madison Square, Union and Washington Square Park).
How it works:
- There will be several NYSN hosts that night to check you in and welcome you.
- Everyone gets a pair of wireless headphones that have separate channels of music provided by our portable DJ system. You can switch back and forth between channels.
- Glowing red or green LED lights on the headphones let you see what the other participants are listening to.
- Along the way everyone will hear the voice of the MC Party Host in their headphones as they get our group to do fun activities, group dances and share interesting historical facts.
- If you want to chat with someone on the trip, simply take off your headphones.
This 2-mile park walk/dance party is for those that want to be outside, have fun, dance, sing, do flash mob antics, as well as learn a bit about our city from a New Yorker for New Yorkers to impress your friends.
The two-hour outdoor walking/dancing party tour will start near Bryant Park where you’ll meet your guide / MC for the night to check in. Upon check-in you’ll receive a pair of Quiet Events Silent Disco headphones that will have two stations of music. With a flip of the switch not only can you change the music but the bright LED lights to indicate which channel you’re listening to and see who else is listening to what you are!
Along the path the group will stop to learn some interesting things and do some silly flash mob dances (don’t worry you’ll be able to do it). Halfway, we will stop so you can warm up with a hot-chocolate, coffee or possibly even an adult beverage. We will continue on our way down as we check out Madison Square Park, Union Square Park and finally to our destination Washington Square Park, where there will always be an audience to enjoy our terrible singing and dancing. From here we will adjourn to a local pub and enjoy the rest of the night.

What to bring:
You MUST have a credit or debit card for the check-in process.
If the headphones are NOT returned, there will be a $100 charge to your credit or debit card after the event.
How it works: When you arrive, you will receive a pair of special wireless headphones. You can adjust the volume and choose between up to three DJs with a flip of a switch. Each headset has a color LED that shows what channel you are listening to. It is super social; you’re in control of the music! There is no loud music that you need to talk over. Plus, there is no ringing in your ears when you leave!

In accordance with current city and state protocols vaccination status is not mandatory for this event. However we do ask that participants act in a responsible manner and do not attend if feeling ill, showing symptoms or have been recently exposed. Mask wearing is optional and everyone should respect the comfort levels of others as we transition into this next phase of socializing in the Covid era.
Can I come alone? Yes, 98% of those attending this event normally register on their own. You are welcome to bring as many nonmember guests, friends & coworkers as you’d like, just make sure to register for the number of people that you want below. Our staff will be ready to greet you and introduce you to others whether you are on your own or with guests.
Do I need a ticket? It is always best to print out the ticket confirmation or save it on your devices as proof of purchase especially if you have purchased your ticket on the same day as the event.

How will I find the group? We will send you a confirmation email with exact locations, contact info and names of those who are hosting the event when you register. We will send follow up emails as we get closer, usually the night before or morning of.
Ages: 21+ Most of our events attract folks in their 20s -40s although some events can skew younger or older (50s) depending on the event. Some events are clearly age specific as indicated. If this is an issue for you contact Dave at the address below and we can usually give you a very accurate idea of what to expect.
Who comes to these? Our activities attract NY professionals from all backgrounds and professions who are looking to expand their social circles. You will also find others who are looking to learn something, network for business, try something they have never done before or enjoy something they love doing but can’t get their friends to do. There may also be some people looking to find that someone special who share a passion for the same activities, but please don’t make this the sole reason you come out.

What if the weather impacts the event? We will determine if the event will happen about 24 hours prior to the start. You will be notified as soon as we know. We usually send updates as well
This event is nonrefundable unless the event is canceled or rescheduled.
