You asked for it and now it’s here! Lauren is bringing back her Rotating Trivia Night!  You don’t have to be a genius to participate in this Trivia Night, you just have to be ready to have a good time! Come out and enjoy a night of food, drink, conversation and a little friendly competition! Test your skills as Lauren presents a fun evening that will have you thinking, laughing and learning about pop culture, music, television, movies, history, NYC and more.

Most questions are easy while others you may have to rely on your teammates for help. Come alone or with a friend. Even if you think you don’t know much trivia, it is still a great way to meet others in the group. We will have special sections set aside for NYSN members to meet and team up.  Pay as you go for food and drink. There are several rounds and prizes awarded for each round! We will rotate everyone to new teams after each round (unless you have a team already).

Please arrive between 7-7:30pm.  If you wish to eat, 7pm arrival is best.  We will be in the 2nd floor lounge.

Cost: The event is free but we do ask that you show your appreciation for Lauren by putting something in the tip jar.  Lauren is not being paid by the venue, and she counts on your tips.

What are the trivia questions?  They are things you should remember from high school, growing up, pop culture, easy world history and common knowledge.

Can I eat there? The Playwright has a great menu. If you want to eat with the group, plan to get there around 7:00pm.

How long does it last? We have 3 rounds of 15 questions each.  The trivia usually lasts until about 9:30pm.  After that some stay and socialize and other head home.

How do I get there? It is in the middle of the block on 35th Street between 6th and 5th Avenues.

Recommended ages:  21+.  The main demographic will be 30s and 40s but there will be many 20s and even 50s so those folks will feel right at home.

Can I come alone? Yes, most guests do! It’s a great way to meet new people.
