God’s Love We Deliver cooks and home-delivers nutritious, medically tailored meals for people too sick to shop or cook for themselves. They also provide unlimited nutrition education and counseling. God’s Love is a non-sectarian organization serving people in need in New York City. All of our services are provided free to clients and full of love.

Volunteer on projects in our kitchen with the guidance of our on-staff chefs. You will be responsible for packing and labeling the meals that have already been prepared so they are ready to go out for delivery.

If you are uncomfortable in a kitchen setting, including working with sharp knives, this is not the project for you.

Please arrive ON TIME for your registered event. Being punctual is very important to maintain a meaningful volunteer experience. If you are more than 60 minutes late you will not be able to participate in your scheduled event.

Covid 19 Protocols:

• Please do not come if you have been exposed.  You may cancel up to one week for a refund.  Within one week you will be given a credit to use for selected events.
• We will take temperatures when you arrive.
• Face masks must be worn while within close proximity..

Can I come alone?  Yes, 98% of those attending this event normally register on their own. If you wish to register with a friend they need to register separately.

Do I need a ticket? No, you will be sent a link to register directly with the charity

Dress Code:  casual, no open toe shoes

How will I find the group?  You will be a small part of a larger team.  We  will have one of our volunteers act as out team captain.

Ages: The volunteers for this event range from late 20’s -60’s

Who Comes to These?: We have reserved 4 spaces out of 20 to assist in this task for the day.  The other 16 people will come from individuals and other groups.
