The Guinness Book of World Records largest Holiday Lights Display is in the Hudson Valley! (See CBS News Report) Join us for this special trip where we will enjoy a casual lunch at The Egg at The Culinary Institute of America,  a moderate hike at Ferncliff Forest and a drive through the World’s Largest Holiday Lights Display.   Bundle up and get in the holiday spirit!

How it works:

  • Take the 9:50 am Metro North train from Grand Central or points north to Poughkeepise, NY. You may also drive to meet the group at the train station.
  • Your guide will pick you up and bring you to the Culinary Institute of America’s The Egg for a buffet style lunch.
  • Following lunch we will go to Ferncliff Forest for a moderate hike to the Mt Rutsen Fire Tower for 360 degree views of the Hudson Valley and Catskill region.
  • After the hike we’ll stop for hot cocoa in Rhinebeck then drive to Lagrangeville to check out the World’s Largest Holiday Lights display!
  • You will be back on the 5:50 pm train home (at the latest).

Cost:  $125 general members / $115 Lifetime VIP Members

Included: transportation to and from the Poughkeepsie train station to all attractions, choice of one entree and side dish and beverage at The Egg, all taxes and tips.

Not included: train fare if taking train

Can I come alone?  Yes, 98% of those attending this event normally register on their own.

Dress Code:  Dress for the weather we will be outside for the hike. Sneakers are okay but hiking shoes are recommended.

This event is nonrefundable unless the event is canceled or rescheduled.
