For everyone tired of the same old zoom meeting with break out rooms. We introduce a virtual happy hour using the Spacial Chat platform where you can wander around  our virtual club and chat with others at the party and join in on games and conversations at your leisure!

How it works:

• Register and we will send you all you need to know about logging in.
• Once you register our hosts will be on hand to welcome you and introduce you to others at the party.
• We will also demonstrate how to use Spatial-Chat so you can wander around the rooms to socialize and play!
• Please note that Spatial Chat works best with Google Chrome.  You will likely have trouble with Firefox and others.

What to expect:

• Dozens of NYSN members old and new coming together for a fun and casual evening of conversations, games and competitions.
• The party starts at 7:30pm.  Were we will have a short explanation of how to use Spatial-Chat.
• After the welcome and explanation you can wander around to several different activities that we have planned during the evening in several different party rooms (ice breakers, trivia, online scavenger hunt)

Cost:  $15 general members / $10 lifetime vip members

What do I need?

A device with a camera and microphone.  We HIGHLY recommend you use headphones.

How do I participate?

When you register we will send you a code to join or Zoom meeting and all the information you will need to participate.

Can I attend alone?

Right now 99.9% of those participating attend alone.

What if I have a roommate, friend, family member or significant other with me that wants to participate too? We ask that you pay for each person that is participating.

How Many are expected?

Over 50 have RSVPed already. Most of our virtual events have 10 to 20 participants unless otherwise specified.

Who participates in these?

The demographics of our online events are varied unless we have a specific criteria listed. For the most part there are all ages and ethnicities. Realistically, this should not matter to you.  If there is an event that you would like to do, then do it!  It is totally different than physically being stuck at something you are not enjoying. You can “click out” at any time. If you are unhappy with the experience we will refund your fee.
