Our interactive murder mystery nights are a fun and different way to socialize on a Saturday evening!  For each of these adventures everyone at the party plays a role and everyone is a suspect! When you arrive, our staff will be on hand to welcome you and give you a character to play in the story.  No experience is necessary.  It is designed to be fun and not super hard.  During the night our host will narrate the chain of events that lead to the murder then it is up to you to solve the case! Tonight, we present “Once Upon A Murder,” a Timeless Tale of Treachery, and Treason in a Kingdom Far, Far Away.

• Arrive at the venue at 5:30pm for registration, the mystery begins at 6:00pm. Our staff will welcome you and give you your character.
• Enjoy cocktails and socializing
• As soon as everyone is checked in, we’ll start the mystery. Please don’t be late or you won’t be able to participate (no refunds)
• You will interact with others at the party to solve the case.
• Feel free to dress up!

After the mysterious disappearance of Cinderella, Prince Charming is throwing a ball to find a new bride. Some of the Kingdom residents question how the prince could move on so quickly, while others are jumping at the chance to earn their spot as the new princess in the castle. As the evening escalates, a killing occurs in the palace … leaving you to write the final chapter. Will you finger the fairy godmother whose magic cannot give her the outcome she desires? The prince who has used his riches to alienate others? A devious dwarf who may know too much? Or perhaps a pouting princess who is plotting to win the heart of Prince Charming. In a kingdom where jealousy, betrayal and deception are common storylines, it will be up to you to find the felon so that everyone can live happily ever after.

COVID-19 Protocols

In accordance with current city and state protocols vaccination status is not mandatory for this event.  However, we do ask that participants act in a responsible manner and do not attend if feeling ill, showing symptoms or have been recently exposed.  Mask wearing is optional and everyone should respect the comfort levels of others as we transition into this next phase of socializing in the Covid era. 

Cost: $30 includes the party admission only ($20 for Lifetime VIP members)

Can I come alone?  Yes, 98% of those attending this event will likely register on their own. You are welcome to bring as many nonmember guests, friends & coworkers as you’d like, just make sure to register for the number of people that you want below. Our staff will be ready to greet you and introduce you to others whether you are on your own or with guests.

Do I need a ticket? Unless otherwise instructed, if you registered and paid for this event or registered with a voucher your name will be on a list at the door.  If you register within 3 hours of the event it is best to bring proof of payment.   If registering with a voucher follow the instruction on the voucher.

About the event:  This Murder Mystery is hosted by The New York Social Network. We are not a professional Murder Mystery company.  We are a social organization that offers these activities as part of our events for people to enjoy a night out, try something different, make friends, celebrate an occasion with groups of friends, etc.  It is done in a very fun and casual way at a local lounge. THIS IS NOT A DINNER EVENT. It is more of a cocktail party atmosphere.   Some people get really into it and come dressed up for the theme and others just come to have fun–it’s up to you! Dress Code:  At all events we ask that you use your best judgement based on the event. There are never jackets and ties required unless specifically stated.  Keep it neat, be yourself and look your best always. Feel free to get dressed up.

How will I find the group?  We will send you a confirmation email with exact locations, contact info and names of those who are hosting the event when you register for the event and send follow up emails as we get closer.

Ages: 21+  Most of our events attract folks in their 20s -40s although some events can skew younger or older (50s) depending on the event. Some events are clearly age specific as indicated.   If this is an issue for you contact Dave at the address below and we can usually give you a very accurate idea of what to expect.
