The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious culinary schools in the world. Legendary chefs like Anthony Bourdain, Rocco DiSpirito, Duff Goldman, and Anne Burrell are just a few of its notable alumni.

Join us for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes experience at the CIA, including a private dining experience at the renowned Bocuse French Restaurant, set on the stunning campus overlooking the Hudson River. Your day will also include a guided tour of the CIA campus, an exceptional multi-course meal, and a visit to the historic Franklin D. Roosevelt Mansion and Presidential Library. NYSN founder Dave Cervini will be your host for the day.

What to Expect

  • Transportation:
    Take the 8:55am train from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie, NY, or drive and meet the group at the Poughkeepsie train station at 10:57am sharp.

  • Lunch at the CIA:
    Enjoy a three-course meal in a private dining room at Caterina (menu below).

  • Campus Tour:
    Dave will lead a guided walk through the CIA campus, including select restaurants and classrooms, while sharing the school’s rich history.

  • FDR Historic Site:
    After lunch, we’ll head to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Mansion and Presidential Library for a guided tour.

  • Return to NYC:
    Transportation will be provided back to the Poughkeepsie train station for a relaxing return to NYC. Latest departure: 5:52pm.

    $180 – General Members
    $170 – Lifetime VIP Members

Included:
Transportation from the Poughkeepsie station to all activities, three-course meal at the CIA, guided tour of the FDR Mansion and Library, and host fees.

Not Included:
Alcoholic beverages at the CIA, train fare.

Coming Solo?
Absolutely! Most guests do. This is a fantastic way to meet new people.

Dress Code:
Dress for the weather. No formal dress code for the restaurant—just keep it neat.
