Our Murder Mystery Parties have become a wildly popular alternative to the typical bar scene. They’re a fun, interactive way to go out—whether you come solo or with friends—and meet great people in a relaxed, organized, and entertaining setting.
This week, we’re rolling our St. Patrick’s Day–themed mystery:
The Theme:
Backstory
St. Paddy’s Day’s around the corner. The Shakin’ Shamrock Pub will soon be rockin’ and rollin’ with a full house of intriguing Irish gents and ladies from the quaint town of Old Lacken. The hosts will kick off the party with delectable Irish food, fun party games, and great chats between fabulous people. However, some of the customers are rivals and don’t get along – especially given the recent scandals lurking about in town. The management of the Shakin’ Shamrock is aware of the potential problems, and promises to keep the party going without an incident. You scored a ticket to the St. Paddy’s bash. This is where your story begins.

The Theme
A St. Patrick’s Day party at a small Irish pub in NYC brings together an unusual mix of locals, expats, and questionable newcomers—some with secrets, others with motives.
The Backstory
St. Patrick’s Day has arrived, and McSorley’s Shadow is packed with revelers: lifelong Irish expats, neighborhood regulars, and a few suspicious blow-ins. The owner promises a night of music, food, and proper Irish hospitality—no drama allowed.
That promise doesn’t last long.
Old feuds resurface. Money goes missing. Relationships unravel. And someone finally snaps.
You’ve been invited to the celebration.

About the Event
This Murder Mystery is hosted by The New York Social Network. We’re not a professional murder mystery company—we’re a social organization offering fun, interactive events for people who want to try something different, meet new friends, or celebrate with a group.
This is not a dinner event. Expect a cocktail-party atmosphere in a local lounge. Some guests go all-in on costumes, others keep it casual—it’s totally up to you. The only rule is to have fun.
