Spring is the perfect season to explore Central Park—and there’s no better way to do it than with fellow New Yorkers! This guided walking tour is designed especially for people who live, work, and play in the New York area. Our goal is to help you see the park (and the city) with fresh eyes by uncovering fascinating history and hidden stories you may pass every day—all while socializing with fun, like-minded people.

What to Expect

  • Up to 30 participants

  • A 90-minute guided walking tour

  • Starts at Tavern on the Green and ends at West 81st Street

  • Learn the history of Central Park from before it was built through the present day

  • View incredible historic photos and visit the park’s most historically significant areas

  • After the tour, members are welcome to stay in the park or head to a nearby café for food and drinks

Cost

  • $30 General Members

  • $25 VIP Members

FAQs

Can I come alone?
Absolutely—most guests do! It’s a great way to meet new people.

Dress Code:
Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Ages:
21+

What if the weather affects the event?
We’ll make a decision about holding the tour approximately 24 hours before the start time and notify you as soon as possible.
