With nearly 5 inches of fresh snow forecast for Central Park this Saturday, we’re taking advantage of this rare and magical moment to host a snowshoe walk in the world’s most famous park! ❄️🌲
Snowshoes strap onto the bottom of your boots and distribute your weight so you can walk almost on top of the snow. With snow-covered trees, quiet paths, and winter scenery, Central Park will be absolutely spectacular.
Here’s how it works:
-
We’ll meet at the Columbus Circle entrance to Central Park.
-
Your guide will fit you with snowshoes.
-
We’ll walk north along the Bridle Path to the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir (86th Street), then continue around the reservoir — approximately 2.5 miles total.
-
We’ll exit the park at 86th Street.
-
Along the way, your guide, Dave Cervini, will share stories and history of Central Park.
-
After the walk, those interested may head to a local pub for food and drinks.
